Hi, I'm Meike, your personal nutritionist, health & wellness coach.

I believe that feeling good in your body shouldn't be complicated. It shouldn't require restrictive diets, endless rules, expensive supplements or constantly trying to optimise every aspect of your life. It starts with understanding your body, nourishing it well and building everyday habits that support your health, energy and wellbeing.

Through my work, I help women make sense of nutrition, metabolism, sustainable fat loss and overall health. My approach combines evidence-based nutritional science with a more natural, food-first philosophy. Think real food, balanced meals, metabolic health, movement, restorative sleep and the everyday rhythms that help us feel our best.

I'm particularly passionate about helping women move away from the cycle of dieting, restriction and starting over. Instead of chasing quick fixes or an unrealistic idea of what a healthy body should look like, I want to help you understand what actually works, find an approach that fits your life and build habits you can maintain for years to come.

My Approach

I believe that good health is built through the small things we do consistently, not through extremes or quick fixes. My approach is rooted in returning to the basics, understanding how our bodies work and making choices that support us rather than overwhelm us.

Nourishment over restriction. Real, minimally processed food is the foundation. I focus on eating well, enjoying food and giving your body the nutrients it needs, rather than obsessing over calories, cutting out entire food groups or following another restrictive diet.

Understanding over guesswork. There's so much conflicting health and nutrition advice out there. I want you to understand the why behind what you're doing, from metabolism and blood sugar regulation to hormonal health and sustainable fat loss. Knowledge gives you the confidence to make informed decisions for yourself.

Consistency over perfection. Healthy living needs to work in real life. That means navigating busy schedules, family life, holidays, celebrations, social occasions and everything in between. You don't need to get everything right to make meaningful progress.

Whole-body wellbeing. Nutrition is only one piece of the puzzle. Sleep, movement, stress, sunlight, connection and the rhythms of everyday life all influence how we feel. I look at the bigger picture rather than treating health as a collection of isolated problems.

Intentional living over constant optimisation. I'm a firm believer in slowing down, simplifying and reconnecting with the things that genuinely make us feel good. Cooking from scratch, spending time outdoors, eating seasonally and creating everyday rituals can be just as meaningful as any wellness intervention.

Ultimately, I don't believe in making healthy living another full-time job. I believe in getting back to the basics, making more intentional choices and finding a balance that allows you to enjoy your life while taking care of your health.

A little about my journey,

I founded mmacht. (a play on words meaning "to do" and "might/powerful") in 2018, while recovering from my first major spinal fusion surgery. What started as a career change during a particularly challenging chapter of my life became something much bigger.

My own experiences with multiple spinal surgeries, physical injuries, hormonal challenges and personal loss have shaped the way I look at health. I've learnt firsthand that wellbeing is about so much more than what we eat or how much we exercise. It's about how we live, how we recover, how we manage stress and how we care for ourselves through different seasons of life.

My interest in nutrition initially grew from a desire to understand natural healing and support my mother's health following her cancer diagnosis. That curiosity eventually became my profession, and I've spent years studying, researching and applying what I've learnt to help others.

My background includes formal studies in food and nutrition, performance nutrition, exercise programming and fat loss coaching, alongside Positive Psychology through Stanford University. I've also pursued further education in holistic health and wellbeing, always with a curiosity about the connection between the body, mind and our everyday environment.

Over the last decade, I've worked with more than 1000 clients in a 1:1 capacity, helping them build healthier relationships with food, improve their nutritional habits, work towards sustainable fat loss and feel more confident in looking after their health.
